The Association of Clinical Research Professionals each Clinical Trials Day helps raise clinical trial awareness and honors clinical research professionals by recognizing their contributions to public health and medical progress.

On May 20 they will share thoughts and perspectives from patients impacted by clinical trials, and from clinical research professionals working to improve quality of life and to save lives.

Clinical Trials Day is celebrated around the world on or near May 20 each year in order to celebrate the day that James Lind started what is often considered the first randomized clinical trial aboard a ship on May 20, 1747.
